I. INTRODUCTION :

“Harshita Aeronautical Foundation” is a registered charitable Public trust. It was established on 17th Oct. 2003 and registered with Madhya Pradesh Govt. under public trust Act 1951 vide registration No. 884 dated 05-07-2005.

The Trust was formed by Er. Umesh Kumar Ranjan, an Engineer and an eminent Educationist, with a vision to impart education in the field of aviation and aeronautics to provide skilled technical manpower to the aviation industry in order to make India the foremost country in the world.

II. UNITS :

The trust manages the following units:-

1) Academy of Aerospace & Aviation, Indore (MP)
2) Pilot Training College, Khargone (MP)
3) College of Aeronautics, Nagpur (MH)
4) Aviation City, Knowledge Park, Ujjain (MP)

Creating an enthusiasts and synergy environment of aviation & developing the aspirants into integrated and well rounded professionals to meet the global challenges in aviation.

VII. DEVELOPMENT:

Aviation City, Knowledge Park, Ujjain

We have chosen Indore & Ujjain for development of Aviation Industry. They are connected with the rest of country by various means of communication. Devi Ahilya Airport in Indore has recently been promoted as an International Airport. These considerations have promoted to decide upon Indore and Ujjain as Knowledge Park, Aviation City, being the most proper places for promoting the growth of Aviation Industry in India. The proposed aviation city, the first of its type of the country, will not only expand the scope of Aviation in India, but will also open new avenues of employment opportunities in the ever expanding aviation sector. At the proposed 'Aviation City', we intend to set up a number of institutions, colleges and selected aviation centers to impart technical and professional training to the pupils exclusively for the Aviation profession in the Global Market.

Our trust has acquired more than 100 acres of land near Ujjain, which is hardly 55 km North from Indore, to develop exclusively for aviation education training under the name and style of Aviation City (Knowledge Park)”. For which the construction has been started from 7th February 2007, with the blessings of and in the auspicious presence of Honorable Union Minister Shri Sir Ram Ola who was our Chief Guest in Foundation Stone Ceremony at Karchha.
