I. APPROVAL:
Approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Minsitry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, vide approval No. DAW/Trg.2007/908 dated 13th June 2007 (view certificate) to conduct “Aircraft Maintenance Engineering” course in Avionics Stream, covering Electrical System (ES), Instrument System (IS) and Radio Navigation System (RN) categories of Basic AME Licence.
II. COURSE:
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in Avionics stream, covering
ES, IS & RN categories of Basic AME Licence.
III. DURATION OF COURSE:
Two and Half Yrs.+06 months On Job Training
IV. ELIGIBILITY FOR THE COURSE:
10+2 pass with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics & Math or 3 yrs Diploma with minimum 50% marks (except Diploma in Civil Engg.)

VIII. SALARY:
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer gets more than a lakh rupees per month depending on the aircraft & organisation he/she is serving, experience and endorsements on his/her AME licence.
IX. SPECIAL FEATURES:
AME licence issued by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. Of India is based on International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) norms, accordingly this licence is valid in all the contracting states of the world. Based on this licence a person can work in any airline and anywhere in the world.
X. NATURE OF JOB:
Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are given responsibility by DGCA, Govt. Of India for safe operation of aircraft. They have to maintain the aircraft by following the rules & regulations and Civil Aviation requirements issued by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. Of India. An AME works as Engineer and Manager for the works related to Aircraft Maintenance. He/she issues the certificate for safety of aircraft before it is flown.
XI. ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
(for “Aircraft Maintenance Engineering” course under three years duration)
1. Candidate willing to undergo AME course must meet the eligibility criteria with regard to qualification & medical standard. Selection for undergoing AME course is based on qualifying the Entrance examination, Medical test and Aptitude test conducted by this College. Also the candidate has to produce a charterer antecedent certificate issued from police station of his /her native place.
2. Candidate shall register his/her name with College by filling up the registration form and submitting the same at our College along with registration fee of Rs. 1100/- (Eleven Hundred only). Registration form may be obtained from College at free of cost or may be downloaded from our website. Instruction regarding payment of registration fee is mentioned in registration form itself.

Note: Registration fee of Rs. 1100/- (Eleven Hundred only) is charged as the processing fee for Entrance examination, Medical test and Aptitude test. Hence this amount is not refundable.
3. On being registered with College the candidate will be called for Entrance examination, Medical test and Aptitude test on a suitable date. Date, time & venue for this examination will be intimated in advance through telephonically and in writing. You are required to bring 10th & 12th Mark sheets in original at the time of Entrance examination.
4. Based on his/her performance in Entrance examination, Aptitude test and Medical standard, he/she will be called to take admission for the course.
Note: It is to be noted that; according to the instructions of DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, we can induct limited number of students in a year for the course, hence the selection is based on merit.
5. Selected candidate shall come to our office at Nagpur (MH) for taking admission on due date. At the time of admission you have to complete the admission formalities and deposit the required fee for the admission.
Note: Because it is a full time course so you have to deposit your 10th & 12th original mark sheets with us for safe custody. These certificate will be returned to you on completion of course.
6. Course commences generally in IInd week of July every year. Exact date for commencement of course will be intimated and you will report for the course on same date.
